I picked this shirt because it specifically says Jamaican and I didn’t want to be too much of a cultural jag about it. I was also curious about the unique effect it had on the neck. I’m a big woman and I’m 5′ 10 so it can be a little bit of a challenge to find a shirt that is girly enough to fit me, but not too boyish. The shirt itself is the perfect length and fit and is the perfect wash a little bit of rouge and make it a little more feminine. The shirt is an odd fit and I’m really not sure what the problem is with it, but it’s an odd fit and I think the shirt is a little too loose in the shoulders for the length of the back and bottom. I don’t like this shirt and I’d lose my shirt if I tried to wear it right now.

To listen to the band I’d need to be on a constant trip to Jamaica, the island of their choice. As much as this song, for me, is about Jamaica, it’s also about getting ready for the trip. I love my shirt. I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now. I have mine in the hot pink and it’s awesome. The color and design is perfect. I have received so many compliments on it. I can’t wait to wear it at my next event.

I seriously love this shirt! I love the colorful design and the bold black and white. I got the lime green color. It’s a great shirt to wear with casual (forget the casual) outfits. It’s a great shirt to tie on a tie to cover your shoulders and arms.

The Jamaican Thing is a response to the fact that we live in an international, multicultural society. The T-shirt bears Jamaica’s link to being our own country and it gives off the shot of competition but with real Jamaicans as heroes. I’m thinking of all the events in Jamaica and how they remind us of our roots, while still giving credit where credit is due. Nothing about this is anything special. It’s just a nice green fabric, and it helps us get an idea of what the product is. Just because we’re not a Jamaican thing doesn’t mean it’s normal to wear that color.
